On Saturday the Gerdes JH Beginning Band and Symphonic Band members attended the Yoakum Bulldog Band Invitational earning 68 Superior Ratings and 5 Excellent Ratings from their performances.
Judges Award-Outstanding Musicians:
Jacquelyn Longoria, Justin Cruz, Jay Rodriguez, and Sergio Rios were selected as Outstanding Soloists. Along with Jay Rodriguez, Kyleigh Martinez, and Pearl Forbes being selected as the outstanding ensemble for the Bulldog Band Invitational.

Kendrick, Dredla and Smith led a group of students and parents in the Ag Farm cleanup on Saturday.
LHS Student Council receives a $12,500 Caldwell County Community Service Foundation grant to be used in leadership development.

The Graduation Ceremony Is Scheduled For Friday 5/26. If inclement weather occurs, the ceremony will shift to Saturday and then Monday if needed. Congratulations to the graduates and their families!
