In partnership with local law enforcement, Luling schools are being used this weekend for important officer training on active shooter scenarios. Training in a school setting is crucial as it allows for practicing real-life scenarios, ensuring better preparedness to respond swiftly and effectively to protect students and staff in the event of an emergency. Safety is our top priority.

To encourage more students to eat breakfast, Shanklin launched a Grab & Go breakfast opportunity. Students have the option to go through the traditional breakfast line to get a hot breakfast or cereal or they can grab a cereal bar and fruit and juice or milk to drink from one of the new breakfast carts set up in the main hallway. Two hundred ninety students grabbed breakfast from the cart this morning!

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month at Shaknlin tomorrow! Enjoy lotería, crafts, music and agua frescas to highlight the beauty of Hispanic culture. See you there!

Our dedicated teachers and campus leaders meet for data talks, diving deep into student data to identify areas for growth. Together, they're collaborating on actionable plans to refine instruction, close learning gaps, and ensure all students succeed. #LulingZeroQuit

We are aware of the presence of bees at the football stadium and understand your concerns. While the district is taking steps to address the issue as effectively as possible, the stadium is outdoors so unfortunately we can not guarantee the complete eradication of the bees.
We ask everyone to remain cautious and aware of your surroundings when attending events at the stadium. Please avoid areas where bees may be more active, and if you have allergies, take extra precautions.

Brace yourselves: It's that time again... the weekly breakfast and lunch menu drop! Will it be a glorious pancake day or another Taco Tuesday? Only time (and the cafeteria) will tell. Stay hungry, my friends.
