San Antonio ISD has cancelled tonight’s varsity football game. We will work to reschedule any special events that were planned for tonight’s game. We are in communication with HomeTown Ticketing on advance purchased tickets and will share that information when we have it.

The Luling High School marching band is hard at work, practicing their amazing show with energy and precision. Each day, the sound of drums, brass, and woodwinds fills the air as the students perfect every step and note while the color guard flags fly high in the air. Their commitment and passion are evident in every rehearsal, promising a standout performance that will leave the crowd cheering.
The Student Council Homecoming Charity Drive was a huge success! Students, staff, and community members donated 4,766 lbs / 5,700+ items to the Luling Food Pantry! It took 5 vehicle loads to deliver it all, and the Food Pantry was so thankful and excited! 💚
From personal narratives and introduction letters to factoring , our 3rd–5th graders are hard at work and absolutely crushing it! 💚
We are aware of the presence of bees at the football stadium and understand your concerns. The district is working with a bee relocation company to safely remove any hives once they are located. If you identify the location of a hive, please contact Central Office immediately so we can address it appropriately. 830-875-3191
Because the stadium is outdoors, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all bees at this time. Tomorrow is Shanklin's College Colors Day—time to Rep Your College Pride! Wear your favorite college colors and show off your school spirit. This celebration is a fun way to spark conversations about future goals and inspire students to start thinking about their own college and career dreams.

Our 8th grade science students are diving into the microscopic world! This week, they’ve been learning all about cells—the building blocks of life—and using microscopes to observe them up close. Hands-on experiences like this help students connect classroom learning with real-world science.
The fun doesn’t stop when the school day ends! Shanklin’s After School ACE Program gives students the chance to learn, explore, and create through exciting activities and projects. From academics to enrichment, ACE is a place where students grow and have fun together!
