Luling Primary and Shanklin Elementary students continue to work on earning the No Place for Hate designation this school year! Luling Primary is working on creating a Tree of Respect that is made out of hand cutouts with student drawings about respect. Shanklin Elementary will be working on Peace Paths. A Peace Path is a conflict resolution tool that helps students come up with solutions by using problem-solving principles.

Governor Abbott has ended several COVID restrictions in Texas, including capacity and mask mandates, effective Wednesday, March 10th. Luling ISD is waiting on further guidance from the Texas Education Agency. All students and staff will continue following our current safety protocols, including the requirement to wear masks, until further notice. Updates will be shared as decisions are made. Thank you for your continued support.

Crazy cold weather this week. Certainly hope everyone has stayed warm and safe. So wonderful to hear so many stories of neighbors helping neighbors. We Are LISD! Thanks to Bonnie Dredla for the pics!
