We are proud to announce that Luling ISD is officially a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) district — and we are celebrating our first group of 11 outstanding educators who have earned TIA designations through this rigorous program!
To mark the occasion, we pulled out all the stops for a surprise reveal that truly matched the moment:
- Our amazing Luling High School Drumline set the tone with high energy
- Cheerleaders brought the spirit
- Board members, district leaders, and campus administrators were on hand to celebrate
- Each designated teacher received flowers, a cake, a district sweatshirt, and a giant custom poster proudly displaying their designation level
The Teacher Incentive Allotment is part of a statewide effort to recognize and reward teacher excellence. Designated teachers receive a significant annual increase to their salary and keep that designation for five years.
We are incredibly proud of them and excited about what this means for the future of our students and staff. We are working to expand the eligibility to more and more teachers each year.
Please join us in congratulating our first TIA teachers!

Happy Easter from all of us at Luling ISD!

Ms. Kersh's class has been digging into Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt by Kate Messner—and what a journey it's been! This beautiful story opened their eyes to the magic happening above and below the garden soil. After reading, students brought the pages to life by creating a vibrant mural that captures the creatures, plants, and wonders of the garden world. #LulingLearns

No school on Good Friday or Easter Monday! Enjoy the long weekend and maybe eat a little too much chocolate. See everyone back on Tuesday.
