Attention LISD Families:
New Student Personal Device Policy for the 2025–2026 School Year
As the new school year begins on August 13th, Texas House Bill 1481 will go into effect. We want to ensure all students and families are informed about this new state-mandated policy.
What You Need to Know:
Students must have their personal devices turned off and out of sight for the entire school day, which includes class time, transitions, and lunch. Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, as required by state law.
We encourage you to begin discussing this new policy with your child. Your support in helping them understand and prepare for this change is crucial.
If you need to contact your child during the school day, please call the front office.
Thank you for your partnership in helping us create a focused, distraction-free learning environment for all students!
If you have any questions, please contact your campus administrator.

Outstanding new educators ready to add to an already amazing team! Game on for Greatness!!

Today we welcomed all of our new teachers to Luling ISD for the 2025-2026 School Year. Teachers enjoyed their first day of orientation with energy and enthusiasm. They dove into interactive sessions covering district and campus culture, instructional best practices, and district resources—getting to know not only the district’s procedures but also getting to learn about our wonderful community in Luling. Mrs. Warren kicked off the morning sharing the history of Luling, and Mrs. Hernandez took the teachers on a bus tour around Luling in the afternoon! New teachers left with a growing sense of community, confidence in their role, and excitement for the year ahead.
