2018-2019 GOALS

      

Goal 1: All campuses will meet or exceed the state accountability standards.

 

Subgoal 1: The percent of students reading on grade level will increase by 2 percentage points in 2018-19.

            GPM 1.1: The percentage of Pre-Kindergarten students who are reading on grade level as measured by the Circle Assessment will increase to 70% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 1.2: The percentage of Kindergarten and 1st grade students who are reading on grade level as measured by iStation will increase to 70% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 1.3: The percentage of 2nd grade students who are reading on grade level as measured by iStation will increase from 64% to 66% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 1.4: The percentage of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are reading on grade level as measured by the Reading STAAR assessment will increase from 58% to 60% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 1.5: The percentage of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are reading on grade level as measured by the Reading STAAR assessment will increase from 63% to 65% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 1.6: The percentage of 9th and 10th graders who are reading on grade level as measured by the English I and II STAAR assessment will increase from 58% to 60% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

 

Subgoal 2: The percent of students on grade level in math will increase by 2 percentage points in 2018-19.

            GPM 2.1 The percentage of Pre-Kindergarten students who are on grade level in math as measured by the Circle Assessment will increase to 70% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 2.2: The percentage of Kindergarten, 1st,  and 2nd grade students who are on grade level in math as measured by the Texas Early Mathematics Inventory (TEMI) will increase to 70% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 2.3: The percentage of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are on grade level in math as measured by the Math STAAR assessment will increase from 66% to 68% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 2.4: The percentage of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are on grade level in math as measured by the Math STAAR assessments will increase from 53% to 55% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

            GPM 2.5: The percentage of 9th graders who are on grade level in math as measured by Algebra I STAAR assessment will increase from 84% to 86% by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

 

Subgoal 3: Student achievement on the STAAR assessment in the All Student, All Subjects category at Meets or Above will increase from 29% to 31% for Luling ISD by the end of the 2018-19 school year.

 

Goal 2: Create a 20-year comprehensive facility plan by April 2019.

            GPM 4.1: The 20-year comprehensive facility plan will by 50% complete by December 2018.
