Elementary and Secondary Learning
Even though school is not in session, we want our students to feel safe and secure in this time of uncertainty and are dedicated to their ongoing learning.  We encourage families to embrace a structured schedule that includes home learning opportunities, reading for pleasure, and physical activities each day.  As you work through the at-home instructional activities, share your progress on Twitter or Facebook (include your school name and #LulingLearns).
At-Home Instruction
We encourage our families to embrace a structured schedule that includes at-home learning activities, reading for pleasure, and physical activities each day.  The following links will redirect you to instructional plans where you will have access to additional standards-based resources.
For families who do not have access to the internet or a printer, learning packets with these assignments may be picked up at Central Office on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Summer Learning Packets
With the suspension of STAAR testing, there is no mandatory summer school. The district has created an 8-week summer learning packet available to all students. This learning opportunity will help mitigate the effects of not having traditional instruction for one-third of the school year. Packets will be available for pick up at Central Office on Tuesdays (8:00am – 6:00pm) and Thursdays (8:00am – 2:00pm) starting on Tuesday, May 26. You will only need to pick up once, as each packet contains all 8 weeks of student assignments.

needed for access. Simply drive up to the high school, park, and log on.
We have checked out devices for all students at Luling High School needing devices. For
students at LHS who still need a device, please contact alvarez@luling.txed.net.
Gerdes Junior High will check out devices the week of April 6th on Tuesday and Thursday
