Luling High School Mission Statement

The primary mission of Luling High School is to provide an educational program that will encourage each student to develop personal knowledge, skills and competence to maximum capacity and to learn behavior patterns which will make each student a responsible member of society.

Class of 2014 Graduation will be Friday June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Eagle Memorial Stadium.
The senior scholarship awards ceremony will be Sunday May 18 at 4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Luling.
The Baccalaureate Service will be Sunday May 18 at 6:30 First United Methodist Church in Luling.

Sophomores and Juniors - If you did not get advised for dual credit for next
year, it is not too late.  Please come see Mrs. Teafatiller to get the next
necessary steps to make this happen.
Your Luling Eagle Softball Team has made it to the state playoffs! Playoff t-shirts are on sale now.  Shirts are $15 and order forms are available at the front office.  Order forms and money are due by Monday April 21 at 4:00.
It's time to sign up for the talent show! Auditions for "Luling's Got Talent" will be Monday April 21st in the Fine Arts Building from 4-5:30.
Please sign up outside of Mr. Irwin's room and prepare your act. The show itself will be April 29th at 6pm.

The penny war is on and the freshman are in the lead and well on their way to a morning of pampering! Bring your pennies to help your classes total go higher.. put silver coins and dollars into the other jars to take away from the other classes! Someone ambushed the seniors with dollars!
Prom is almost here! The price is $25 for juniors and $30 for guests and underclassmen.  See Mrs. Huebner for permissions slips for your out of town guests.  Due by April 30th. 

Students who would like to be on the yearbook staff next year need to go by room 504 and pick up an application from Mr. P and turn it in as soon as possible.  Deadline to turn in applications is May 9.
Voting is now open! Luciano Duenez is in the final running to receive a full ride scholarship to Tulsa Welding School and we can help him win it! Vote through your facebook account by going to the Tulsa Welding School facebook page, find the Mike Rowe Works scholarship, find Luciano’s video and click vote.  You can vote once a day and share it on your page so all of your friends can do it too!
The LHS Student Council’s annual can tab project started last week and will end on April 21.  Please bring all of your can tabs to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald house and families of terminally ill children.  You may turn in your can tabs into the jar in your English teachers classroom. 
Every Wednesday – Annunciation Episcopal Church offers students free lunch every Wednesday.  Go by the Episcopal Church today and get your free lunch!
