Luling High Calendar
Bad Weather Makeup Day
State law requires that school districts designate two bad weather make up days on the school district’s calendar, each year. This year, Luling ISD designated January 20, 2014 and May 23, 2014 as the bad weather make-up days for the district.
January 20, 2014 was previously observed as a school holiday, since the district had not experience any bad weather to date. However, due to bad weather in the area on Friday, January 24, 2014, Luling ISD observed this day as a closure.
Therefore, Friday, May 23, 2014 will be the make-up day for January 24, 2014, and is now a regular school day. Students and staff members are expected to be in attendance on Friday.
